Islamabad, Oct 29; The Met Office said there may be a chance of snow in some regions of the UK, and it may be the next week.
Over the weekend, temperatures in the UK are to reach ice, mist and heavy fog; regarding the snow – they may be already seen at the beginning of November, and this is especially true for the Northern and the Eastern districts.
In a long-range forecast covering October 30 to November 8, the Met Office stated: It is as likely that by the start of November it will turn much colder / brighter with snow possibility in the northern and eastern regions, yet it is as much of a possibility that it might miss the UK, or the milder conditions will persist.
In either case going forward, it looks set to remain largely fine, though the probability of a trend towards more unsettled conditions developing mounts later in this span.
It comes after a warm and sunny weekend with dry, sunny days expected in northern England, Wales, Midlands and the south-west on Saturday. However, it may be cloudy in the rest of the country:
Sunday is expected to turn wet with heavy rain starting from northern parts of the country and spreading to the southern regions during the day.
The mercury is expected to rise to 16°C in the south-west on Saturday.
The forecast will be “mostly fine” with the risk of light showers or misty conditions remaining until Wednesday.
From Wednesday onwards, the Met Office said that high pressure will produce “often quiet and settled weather.”
