The strategic partnership centers on enhancing educational opportunities for girls by providing scholarships, capacity-building programs, and community outreach initiatives. These efforts will support educational institutions, local schools, and organizations that work directly with marginalized groups. Through these programs, the UMT and MWL aim to promote the values of peace, tolerance, and cultural understanding, all while focusing on long-term educational sustainability and empowerment.
This collaboration aligns with UMT’s mission to foster academic excellence and social justice, particularly in underrepresented communities. By prioritizing education as a tool for empowerment, UMT seeks to uplift those traditionally excluded from opportunities. Additionally, the MoU reflects MWL’s dedication to combating extremism through education, advocating for global peace, and addressing critical educational disparities around the world.
Ibrahim Hasan Murad, UMT’s Chairman, emphasized the transformative power of education, particularly for girls, in creating equitable and inclusive societies. “Education is the key to progress, and this partnership represents our shared vision for societal transformation and harmony,” he stated.
This partnership marks an important milestone in the efforts to bridge gaps in education, reflecting a commitment to addressing global challenges through collaborative action. By joining forces, UMT and MWL are setting a new standard for academic institutions and international organizations working together to create a more inclusive and peaceful world.
