Islamabad, Feb 4: The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, in partnership with UNESCO, is set to launch an innovative project to establish smart classrooms in 40 girls’ schools across Gilgit-Baltistan.
This forward-thinking initiative seeks to enhance education quality and create an engaging learning experience, especially for girls in underserved regions. The first phase of the project focuses on five key districts: Nagar, Ghizer, Shigar, Diamer, and Kharmang, marking an important step in the government’s commitment to improving education and fostering digital literacy.

In a related event, Nausheen Barkat, the first female CEO of Bee Company from Hunza, delivered an inspiring lecture at Islamabad College for Girls (F-6/2) on the topic of entrepreneurship.
