Islamabad, Aug 10: Following a period of fluctuations about the economic collapse, limitations on imports, cessation of operations, reduced sales, and reduced profit margins, the local automobile sector appears to be rebounding strongly. We have witnessed a number of vehicle releases this year, including the MG HS 2.0 Turbo and the Haval Jolion HEV. On the other hand, the newcomers in the electric power train include the Hyundai IONIQ 6, GiGi Mini EV, and Honri Ve.
The Specifics
Speaking of the future list, United Motors is getting ready to introduce “JETOUR” to Pakistan. Founded in 2018, Jetour is a brand of Chery, a Chinese automaker. Jetour mostly manufactures crossovers and SUVs. In a similar vein, the business intends to introduce the “Dashing” and “X70 Plus” crossover SUV models.
Based on preliminary data, both of these vehicles will be built locally (CKD) and will use 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engines. Furthermore, the X70 Plus provides seating for seven adults, whereas the Dashing variation will only fit “five people” in an SUV.
Here are pictures of both variations showing off their external appearance and elegance.
These two stunning cars are expected to be released by United Motors in January 2025. Budget hatchbacks like “Bravo” and “Alpha,” which the local manufacturer previously introduced, failed to find popularity in the market due to their poor build quality, lack of spare parts, and nil resale value. But now that the local automaker has switched to a high-end Chinese brand, we hope that everything will work out for it soon.
Additional Future Releases
Deepal and BYD, in addition to United Motors, are scheduled to introduce their electric versions on August 16 and 17, respectively. Kia Lucky Motors is on the list of companies intending the same thing in the meantime. The fact that the Hyundai Elantra 7 Gen Hybrid has been spotted in Pakistan suggests that Hyundai Nishat is working on a project as well. The business has also declared that it will join the league shortly.
Our reliable sources have suggested that Lucky Motor Corporation may launch Kia’s cutting-edge EV line in 2024, although there are many different theories as to which model would be unveiled.
