Islamabad, Nov 25: Updated World Test Championship Points Table After India’s Dominant Win Over Australia. India took control of the most recent World Test Championship Table after defeating Australia handily in the first test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
India overcame a fierce battle from Travis Head to win the match by 295 runs, recording one of the largest victories in test cricket history, requiring just 7 wickets on the fourth day. On December 6th, the two teams will play one another as the hosts attempt to win the series again.
India, fresh off a 3-0 thumping at home, will be encouraged by the outcome as they attempt to secure tickets to Lord’s for the World Test Championship Final the following year.
