Islamabad, Apr 8, 2025: Hasan Ali believes the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) could help restore the faith of fans in cricket following a difficult period. 

While addressing a press conference, Hasan acknowledged growing frustration among supporters due to the recent struggles in international cricket.

The right-arm pacer pointed out that the poor performance of the national side has had a broader impact on cricket culture in the country.

He expressed hope that PSL 10, which begins on 11 April, would not only offer entertainment but also reignite passion among fans.

The Karachi Kings pacer mentioned that Pakistani fans are deeply connected to the sport and often seek excitement and quality cricket.

According to him, if PSL teams perform well and deliver competitive matches, it could attract viewers—even those currently more inclined towards rival leagues like the IPL.

Speaking about the strategy of Karachi Kings, Hasan shared that the franchise aims to deliver results by playing an appealing and aggressive brand of cricket.

He said the players were focused on connecting with fans in Karachi and winning back their support through consistent performances.

The 29-year-old also welcomed the team’s new coaching staff, praising the addition of Ravi Bopara as head coach and Shaun Tait as assistant and bowling coach.

He believed both brought valuable international experience that could benefit the squad.

On a personal note, Hasan said he was determined to make his mark in the league and earn a recall to the national team.

Reflecting on his performances last year, he stressed that strong individual displays could open doors for national selection.

With the PSL marking its 10th edition, Hasan called on all teams to give their best and ensure the landmark season lives up to its billing.
