Islamabad, Nov 23: Virat Kohli’s Remarkable Gesture Amid Mohammed Siraj’s Heated Exchange with Australian Star. On the first day of the first Test in Perth on Friday, India’s Mohammed Siraj and Australia’s Marnus Labuschagne got into a furious argument. During the post-tea session, the incident occurred following the fourth delivery of the thirteenth over of Australia’s innings.

As Siraj delivered a short delivery that nibbled back and struck Labuschagne on the top of his pad, tensions between the two erupted. Siraj responded by running to the striker’s end to pick up the ball because Labuschagne had left his crease and it was near the stumps.

Siraj became somewhat irritated when Labuschagne used his bat to nudge the ball away. The two engaged in a verbal duel as a result. The crowd cheered when Virat Kohli removed the bails, indicating that he was equally angry with Labuschagne.

After a thrilling first day in Perth, India stormed back into the first Test match against Australia at the Optus Stadium after being skittled for 150. They took seven wickets in the closing session to secure their spot in the box seat.

After Jasprit Bumrah destroyed the Australian top order in a devastating stretch to finish the day with 4-17, the hosts were in a mess at 67-7. Mitchell Starc was not out six and Alex Carey was undefeated on 19.

The visitors were thrashed for 150 after choosing to bat, and Josh Hazlewood’s 4-29 was no match for the hosts’ deadly pace attack. Though flashy Rishabh Pant (37) and impressive newcomer Nitish Kumar Reddy (41) displayed some vigor, superstar Virat Kohli once again failed, going out for five.

The last two Border-Gavaskar trophy series in Australia have been won by the visitors. You can only listen to the newest music on JioSaavn.com. The series’ first of five Test matches is in Perth. Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Adelaide will host the remaining Tests.
