Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar is scheduled to embark on a two-day visit to Jordan on 10-11 June 2024. He will attend the high-level conference titled “Call for Action: Urgent Humanitarian Response for Gaza,” which is jointly organized by His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of Jordan, President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi of Egypt, and United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres.
The primary objective of the conference is to address the pressing humanitarian crisis in Gaza and formulate a collective response. During the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister is expected to engage in bilateral discussions with counterparts from other participating nations.
Pakistan’s involvement in the conference reaffirms its unwavering commitment to peace and stability in the Middle East and its enduring support for the Palestinian cause.
