Islamabad, Oct 15: Recently, Vivo X200 Pro which includes the X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini—became officially available in China. While the Pro versions continue to receive more attention, the vanilla model retains some of its siblings’ characteristics.
Design and Display
The 6.67-inch quad-curved display on the Vivo X200 Pro is identical to that of its bigger Pro cousin. Zeiss Natural Color technology offers improved color fidelity with this screen. The 10-bit LTPS panel has a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and uses high-frequency PWM dimming to remove flicker. It also supports HDR10+.
Amazingly, this display uses less electricity and is designed to last three years longer than standard OLED displays. It is noteworthy that an optical fingerprint reader is used in the non-Pro version. The phone’s IP68 rating was upgraded to IP69 from the Vivo X100.
Internals and Software
The flagship Dimensity 9400 chipset, which was recently introduced and has been making waves in performance benchmarks, powers the X200. Vivo, ARM, and MediaTek worked together to create this novel all-big core 3nm processor, which is the product of their second generation.
The Dimensity 9400 is powered by a primary Cortex-X925 processor with a speedy 3.626 GHz clock speed. Up to 16 GB of RAM, which can virtually quadruple thanks to virtual RAM technology, compliment this powerhouse. 256 GB, 512 GB, or an incredible 1TB of storage are available, and Vivo’s unique storage compression technology allows for future expansion.
Cameras
One of the standout features of the Vivo X200 Pro robust camera setup is its 50MP Sony IMX921 sensor. This 1/1.56′′ sensor is comparable to the X100 sensor, while being smaller than the LYT-818 found in the Pro versions. A T*-coated Zeiss lens with a large f/1.57 aperture complements the primary camera.
Battery and Pricing
The X200 is powered by a sturdy 5,800 mAh BlueBolt battery, which is an 800 mAh increase over the X100. Nevertheless, there is a trade-off in charging speed for this increased capacity. While it is not particularly slow, the X200’s 90W wired charging capacity is a decrease from the 120W of the previous year’s model.
