Islamabad, Aug 5, 2025: The vivo Y400 5G has just made its debut in India and while the official release in Pakistan is still pending, here is everything we’ve gathered about the device so far. This upcoming model appears to share its design with the previously launched Y400 4G but it introduces notable improvements under the hood.
It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset aimed at delivering improved performance and efficiency. One of the biggest highlights is its rapid 90W charging capability which significantly cuts down charging time compared to earlier models. The front camera has also been upgraded to a 32MP shooter which is perfect for sharper selfies.
The display on the vivo Y400 5G is a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel supporting Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It can hit a peak brightness of 1,800 nits making it highly usable in bright outdoor settings. For durability, the phone comes with an IP68/69 rating offering solid protection against water and dust. The battery is a substantial 6,000mAh unit though unlike the 4G model silicon-carbon battery, this variant uses a standard lithium-ion cell.

Color options available in the Indian market are Glam White and Olive Green. Pricing starts at $250 for the 8GB + 128GB version, while the 256GB variant comes in at $273.
