Islamabad, Dec 1: The Riyadh Metro has unveiled its ticket pricing details in preparation for its official launch on December 1, 2024.
Fares for the metro system start at four Saudi riyals (SR), offering flexible travel options to suit casual riders and premium passengers alike.
Spanning 176 kilometers across six lines, the metro aims to transform Riyadh’s public transport system. Integrated with the Riyadh Bus Project, it ensures seamless citywide connectivity. The network, consisting of 85 stations, includes key hubs like King Abdullah Financial District, STC, Qasr Al-Hakam, and Western Station. Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman inaugurated the system on November 27, 2024.
Ticket Pricing Breakdown
First-Class Tickets:
- Two-hour pass: SR10
- Three-day pass: SR50
- Seven-day pass: SR100
- Thirty-day pass: SR350
Standard-Class Tickets:
- Two-hour pass: SR4
- Three-day pass: SR20
- Seven-day pass: SR40
- Thirty-day pass: SR140
