Islamabad, July 21, 2025: WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will let channel admins ask questions and get replies from their followers.
With this update, admins can write a question and post it in their channel. Once it’s shared anyone who sees it can respond directly.
The option to ask questions will appear in the chat attachment menu as a new “Questions” button, according to WABetaInfo.
Admins can view all the replies by opening the post where they asked the question. All responses will appear under that message.
But if the admin deletes the question, all the replies will be removed as well and can’t be recovered later.

This feature is also designed with keeping privacy in mind. Only the admin will see the response when someone answers a question. Other followers will not be able to view or react to it.
Right now the feature is still being developed and will be released in future updates.
Besides this, WhatsApp is also adding a new tool for group chats. It will show how many people are typing at the same time like “2 people typing” or “3 people typing.”
