A wildfire erupted once again on Monday in Islamabad’s Margalla Hills, forcing an urgent response from the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and district officials. The fire broke out near key areas including Saidpur Darra, Jungle Number 15, and Rumli — locations known for their rich vegetation and ecological importance.

Over 70 firefighters were immediately dispatched to tackle the blaze. Although initial efforts managed to bring the fire under control earlier in the day, dry weather and strong winds caused it to flare up again, requiring renewed firefighting operations.
