Lego Batman returns in Legacy of the Dark Knight, featuring open-world Gotham, new suits and legendary villains in 2026.
The Caped Crusader is returning to bricks and consoles. Warner Bros. Games, TT Games, DC and The LEGO Group have officially announced Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, a brand-new video game that reimagines Gotham City in a sprawling open world. The game is set for release in 2026 across multiple platforms, promising fans a fresh, action-packed take on the beloved hero.
Unlike previous Lego Batman titles, this installment goes bigger than ever. Players will be able to explore Gotham as an open world, cruising through its dark alleys and towering skyscrapers in the Batmobile. The game also introduces Arkham-inspired combat, new playable Batsuits, and a line-up of Gotham’s most iconic villains, from the Joker to the Riddler.
