Islamabad, June 28, 2025: Xiaomi has unveiled the Mix Flip 2, its latest clamshell foldable smartphone, bringing significant advancements over its predecessor. While maintaining a familiar design, the new device boasts notable improvements in engineering, performance, and user experience, featuring a redesigned hinge, upgraded displays, and a larger battery.
The Mix Flip 2’s refined hinge mechanism, a three-link, four-float plate structure, allows for a minimal gap when closed and reduces the crease on the internal screen. Both the internal 6.86-inch and the slightly enlarged outer AMOLED displays support a 120Hz refresh rate, cover a wide color gamut, and reach an impressive peak brightness of 3,200 nits, ensuring vibrant and clear visuals.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It offers enhanced performance and thermal management, supported by a dual vapor chamber cooling system for sustained heavy use. It runs a customized HyperOS 2 based on Android 15, optimized for foldable multitasking. Memory options go up to 16GB RAM with 1TB storage.
The camera system has been reconfigured, now featuring a 50MP wide-angle camera and a 50MP ultrawide lens with autofocus and macro capabilities. A 32MP front camera supports 4K video recording for high-resolution selfies and video calls.
Powering these upgrades is a larger 5,165 mAh battery, an improvement from the previous model, with support for 67W wired and 50W wireless charging. Pricing for the Mix Flip 2 starts at $836 for the base model, with higher configurations available up to $1000.
