Islamabad, July 28, 2025: Barcelona young talents stole the spotlight in a win over Vissel Kobe, as new faces like Roony Bardghji and Dro Fernandez impressed in a bold start to their Asia tour.
Barcelona defeated Vissel Kobe 3-1 in a pre-season friendly in Kobe, Japan. The match marked the start of Barcelona’s Asia tour and featured a mix of senior players and young talent. Eric Garcia scored the first goal in the 33rd minute after Barcelona applied consistent pressure. Just before halftime, Vissel Kobe equalized through Taisei Miyashiro, who found the net with a low shot past debutant goalkeeper Joan Garcia.

Joan Garcia, despite conceding once, made several important saves to keep Barcelona in the game. In the second half, manager Hansi Flick brought on Marcus Rashford who made his first appearance for the club. Barcelona regained the lead in the 77th minute when new signing Roony Bardghji scored after linking up with Robert Lewandowski.
The win was locked in the 87th minute when academy graduate Pedro Dro fired in a powerful shot from outside the box. Barcelona kept control for most of the match and handled late pressure from Vissel Kobe well, showing strong form for a team still settling in for the new season.
