Islamabad, 16 June 2025: Fully Funded Program opportunities are now closing soon for the 2025 edition of the Youth for Energy Futures initiative, an immersive cross-cultural learning experience designed to explore Europe’s evolving energy and ecological landscape.
This highly competitive program, jointly organized by Virage Énergie and the Heinrich Böll Foundation, seeks dynamic young thinkers from Italy, France, and Germany to contribute to discussions shaping a fairer, greener future.
Structured to equip emerging leaders with essential insights and advocacy tools, the program focuses this year on the intersection of gender equality and energy transition.

Participants will delve into how energy reforms can address broader societal imbalances, including urban design and social equity.
The program launches in September 2025 with an online seminar introducing core concepts related to gender and ecological justice.
This will be followed by an in person study tour across Freiburg and Strasbourg from October 19 to 24, giving selected candidates firsthand exposure to pioneering European sustainability practices.
A Fully Funded Program with Comprehensive Support
As a fully funded program, all travel, accommodation, and catering expenses are covered for the full duration of both the virtual and on-ground modules.
This removes financial barriers for committed participants, enabling a deeper focus on learning and collaboration.
Organizers are encouraging applications from individuals aged 20 to 29 who are passionate about ecological transition, energy policy, intercultural understanding, and social justice. Strong communication skills in English and full availability during the program dates are essential.
