Islamabad, Aug 28: A recent sixth-grade graduate from Pakistan, age eleven, has developed an artificial intelligence assistant that can communicate via a robotic head. Muhammad Ali is the name of this AI helper that Hasnain made as a summer project for a free robotics training program.

Muhammad Ali is an AI assistant robot that can be controlled by speech. It can answer inquiries, give recipes, and even control household appliances. Want to look up anything online or play a movie? Muhammad Ali can also manage that. Hasnain stated to Arab News:

Muhammad Ali, my robot AI assistant, is this. You actually get the impression that you’re engaging with a real person since he has a face and a personality. It includes a few more functions, like home automation, which lets you tell it to open [search] anything or operate household appliances. Aside from that, it serves as my assistant, which is useful when I’m working on other projects.

Hasnain has always found science and technology to be fascinating. His enthusiasm inspired him to construct an automobile with Bluetooth during the summer of 2022. In2023, he released a virtual reality game as a follow-up. Hasnain has now developed an AI assistant robot named “Muhammad Ali.”

Hasnain claims that Muhammad Ali’s distinct “personality and face” are what distinguish it from other AI chatbots like as GPT, Gemini, and Claude. He feels that these features are what the top chatbots lack. He added that this robot is Pakistani and Muslim. According to Hasnain, its primary objective is to be “kind and helpful.”

The AI assistant robot was mostly constructed by Hasnain. Shakeel Abbas, the instructor of robotics at the institute where Hasnain studied, claims that although Abbas assisted him in obtaining the required tools, Hasnain designed and built the robot on his own.
