The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) closed the Plastic Tank Factory, an unlicensed structure on Lakho Road On Friday, t.The Enforcement Squad conducted the operation with assistance from the Naseerabad police station, according to a press statement.
Three previous notices had been given to the property owner for violating authorized plans and maps. The owner’s development without the required licenses and no-objection certificates (NOCs) was a violation of the RDA Building and Zoning Regulations 2020 and the Punjab Development of Cities Act 1976.
The Land Use and Building Control (LU&BC) Wing has been given stringent instructions by RDA Director General Kinza Murtaza to unbiasedly execute measures against unlicensed construction and commercial operations, as well as encroachments.
In order to regularize all illegal residential and commercial constructions under RDA’s control, the Building Control Wing has also been tasked with surveying costs linked to commercialization, approval of illegal residential and commercial buildings, and complementing building plans.To stop such losses, the civic organization has called on the people to remove any encroachment out of moral obligation.
