What Can We Expect From MG ZS in 2025?

It has a large front bonnet with the company’s emblem shining through it. The front grille of this new hybrid crossover SUV is bigger and has a chrome strip running the length of it.

Additionally, the back bumper and tail light design are plainly visible in the disclosure that was made public online. Now for the lightning. The MG ZS HEV has projector headlights that are combined with built-in LED DRLs.

The interior photos have not yet been made public by the company. But a spy wearing a ZS that was carefully camouflaged was seen in Sydney. Here are some significant insider updates that were reported.

MG ZS’s Hybrid Powertrain
According to sources, the MG ZS HEV will be marketed under the name “MG ZS Hybrid+.” It is likely to have the same powerplant as the MG3 hatchback. It will have a 100kW electric motor and a 75kW gasoline engine for a total output power of 211 horsepower, which will improve the vehicle’s acceleration and performance.

Furthermore, according to the documents, the 1.5-liter normally aspirated turbocharged engine in the non-hybrid variant of this vehicle will be powered by a CVT (Continuous Variable Automatic Transmission). The further information regarding the power output of the car’s non-hybrid engines, however, has not yet been made public by the manufacturer. All of the variants will have the same transmission, which is CVT.

Accessible Model MG ZS HEV
Instead of being sold as an MG Astor, this vehicle is being sold under the MG ZS HEV moniker in the foreign market. In Australia, MG plans to introduce the car’s gasoline version in the fourth quarter of 2024 (October–December). In 2025, the hybrid and electric versions will go on sale.
