Islamabad, Sep 23: The second phase of the anti-polio campaign has commenced in three districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, targeting 672,000 children under the age of five for vaccination against the disease.
The health department has organized over 4,000 teams to administer the anti-polio drops, and 4,896 police personnel have been deployed to ensure their security.
This phase of the campaign is taking place in Tank, Lakki Marwat, and Dera Ismail Khan, as part of ongoing efforts to eliminate polio in the region.
