Islamabad, Nov 27: The Traffic Police have reminded motorcyclists that only three days remain to benefit from the ongoing relief initiative for obtaining learning and regular driving licenses, which will conclude on November 30. Following this deadline, authorities will begin a crackdown on unlicensed riders.

  • Licensing Figures: Over 1.2 million citizens have benefited from the scheme, with 460,940 obtaining learning licenses, 764,961 acquiring regular driving licenses, and more than 185,000 renewals processed.
  • Action Required: Motorcyclists are advised to visit licensing centers with their original CNICs to secure their licenses before the deadline.

Additional Inspector General Mirza Farhan Baig highlighted the scheme’s success in improving road safety and encouraging adherence to traffic regulations. From December 1, the 42-day validity period for learning licenses will be strictly enforced once again. The traffic police spokesperson urged motorcyclists to act quickly to avoid legal consequences.
