Islamabad, Oct 2: Annular Eclipse Scheduled for October 02-03, Will Not Be Visible in Pakistan. Through its Climate Data Procession Center, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has announced that an Annular eclipse with no visibility is scheduled to occur in Pakistan between the evenings of October 2 and 3.
This celestial event will be visible over a large portion of Antarctica, the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, and southern North America in addition to most of South America. However, Pakistan would not be able to view the eclipse. On October 02, at 8:43 PM (Pakistan Standard Time), a partial eclipse will begin. At 9:51 PM, the total eclipse will begin.
At 11:45 PM, the Annular eclipse will reach its highest point, or peak, producing the remarkable “ring of fire” effect that is typical of annular eclipses, in which the Moon completely obscures the Sun’s core while revealing its outside edges. As the eclipse moves forward, on October 3, the total phase will end around 1:39 AM, and the partial eclipse will end at 2:47 AM. Across the regions where it will be visible, observers should find the event captivating as it presents a unique chance to see the splendor of an annular solar eclipse.
