On Monday, a number of flights were canceled at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi as a result of operational and technical difficulties. Due to operational and technical problems, PIA flights PK-157 from Karachi to Islamkot and PK-503 from Karachi to Gwadar were both canceled on Monday. Due to the anticipated rains, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) had earlier issued a rain warning for Karachi Airport.

The CAA has issued a rain notice for Karachi Airport, which calls for the following actions: moving small aircraft to secure places, fastening their wings with weights, monitoring the runway and its surroundings for the next 24 hours, and dealing with concerns pertaining to insects and birds in the runway area.

Serene Air canceled both flight ER-554 from Karachi to Peshawar and flight ER-502 from Karachi to Islamabad. Moreover, Serene Air’s planned flight ER-522 from Karachi to Lahore was canceled.
