Islamabad, Sep 6: The primary crude distillation plant of Attock Refinery Limited (PSX: ATRL) was shut down on Friday, the company reported. The firm announced in a notification to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) that from September 06 to September 08, 2024, it will be closing its main distillation unit (32,400 BPD) in order to upgrade its equipment.
It further stated that the unit will resume operations as soon as the HSD stocks/ullage situation improves, given the extremely high HSD stocks that were driving the refinery to shut down. It further mentioned that throughout the stoppage, regular product supply and crude revenues will continue.
