ISLAMABAD: Azerbaijan is thinking about making a sizable $2–$3 billion investment in Pakistan, according to Petroleum Minister Musadik Malik.In an interview with a private news channel on Wednesday, Malik disclosed that Azerbaijan has expressed a great deal of interest in Pakistan’s mining industry.
He emphasized Azerbaijan’s emphasis on exploring for oil and gas and its strong desire to increase investments in the LNG industry. Malik emphasized that the government’s top goal is to increase economic cooperation with friendly nations, and he mentioned that the prime minister is keen to see these kinds of partnerships grow.
He claimed that investment takes precedence over friendly country help. Malik further added that President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan is scheduled to visit Pakistan on Thursday, which is likely to improve commercial relations.He also said that the two countries’ IT sectors will probably be promoted and textile exports will likely be increased during this visit.
