Former chief selector Salahuddin Sallu has commended Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi for his efforts to rejuvenate Pakistan cricket while maintaining that Azhar Mahmood should be removed as assistant coach from all formats.

Sallu said, “Those who have been a part of Pakistan Cricket or who have watched Pakistan dominate in international cricket are keen to see a resurgence of that period.

After Pakistan’s lackluster performance in the recent T20 World Cup, which was held in the USA and the West Indies, the former cricket player emphasized the importance of Naqvi’s activities. He commended a number of Naqvi’s crucial initiatives, including reorganizing the selection committee, minimizing player involvement,

Improving the facilities and requiring all players to play domestic cricket.
