Islamabad, Jan 4: The Balochistan Board of Investment (BBI) has announced plans to host a two-day business summit in Islamabad on January 27 and 28, 2024. The summit aims to gather business leaders, economic experts, and government officials to promote investment opportunities in Balochistan by offering incentives and facilities to investors.

Preparations for the summit are underway, with BBI Vice Chairman Bilal Kakar and CEO Abdul Kabeer Khan Zarkoon meeting with Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) Secretary Jahanzeb Khan in Islamabad. During the meeting, the BBI officials updated the SIFC secretary on the summit arrangements, and the SIFC assured full support for the event.

The officials highlighted the vision of Balochistan’s Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, which focuses on fostering economic and commercial activities, creating employment opportunities for youth, and driving sustainable development in the province. They described the Balochistan Business Summit as a revolutionary initiative aimed at attracting global investors and business communities to the region.

The summit is expected to attract top business leaders, diplomats, high-ranking government officials, and representatives from various organizations. The BBI officials emphasized the summit’s potential to be a significant milestone in the overall development and prosperity of both Balochistan and Pakistan. They expressed gratitude for the support provided by the SIFC and are optimistic about the summit’s positive impact.
