Islamabad, Sep 1: Bangladesh started the third day of the Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh trailing behind Pakistan’s 274 points from the first innings. Bangladesh struggled to establish a solid base against a disciplined Pakistani bowling attack early in their innings.

After 11 overs, Bangladesh is 27/6 with Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Litton Das at the crease. The bowlers from Pakistan have been unrelenting, and Bangladesh’s batting order is struggling significantly. Bangladesh’s surviving batters have an extremely difficult task ahead of them after losing four wickets already.

As the day wears on, all eyes will be on Bangladesh’s middle order and how well it manages the unrelenting bowling onslaught from Pakistan. Bangladesh’s hitters will need to demonstrate tenacity and resolve to lead their team to a decent position despite the pitch helping the bowlers.

Early Achievements in Pakistan: Early on, Khurram Shahzad gave an outstanding performance, quickly eliminating Shadman Islam and Zakir Hasan.

Zakir, who was supposed to lead the innings, was knocked out cheaply, which put more strain on the Bangladesh starting order.

Shadman Islam’s Rejection: Shahzad’s speech to Shadman Islam was especially noteworthy. Shadman tried to play it to the onside but was caught off guard by a ball that swung in hard from behind the length of the field.

Shadman was out for 10 runs off 23 balls as the ball clipped the leg stump after grazing his thigh pads.

Mominul Haque joined Najmul Hossain Shanto at the crease after the early wickets.
With cautious play, the two managed to add a few of runs while attempting to steady the innings. Nonetheless, Pakistan’s bowlers, especially Khurram Shahzad and Mir Hamza, kept the scoring rate under control by maintaining tight lines.
