As the opening day of the new fiscal year 2024–25, Monday, July 1, 2024, shall be marked as a bank holiday and the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) would not be open for business.
Therefore, during the bank holiday, all banks, development finance institutions (DFIs), and microfinance banks (MFBs) would be closed to the public.
In this regard, a circular from the central bank is anticipated today.
All bank, DFI, and MFB staff would, nevertheless, report to work as usual.
