Islamabad, Mar 11, 2025: The Sindh administration has declared that wages and retirement benefits for its workforce will be distributed in advance of Eid-ul-Fitr, with disbursement set for March 21.
As per an official statement released by the Sindh Finance Division, all provincial government personnel will receive their payments earlier than the regular schedule, enabling them to make necessary arrangements for the religious occasion.

This initiative has been taken as the nation gears up for Eid celebrations, which, according to the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), is predicted to be observed on March 31.
Nonetheless, if the Islamic month of Ramazan extends to a full 30 days, Eid-ul-Fitr will take place on April 1 (Tuesday).
The ultimate verdict regarding the lunar sighting will be determined by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.
