Islamabad, Sep 2: The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) and JazzCash will work together to enable its beneficiaries to access digital resources. Senator Rubina Khalid, the chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), met with a group from JazzCash, which included Ali Naseer, the chief strategic officer, and Ibrar Khan, vice president of corporate affairs.

The purpose of the conference was to discuss how giving women beneficiaries of the BISP cellphones would improve their financial and digital inclusion.The President and Prime Minister of Pakistan have directed that BISP beneficiaries be paid in a transparent and respectful manner; Senator Rubina Khalid underlined this point.

In order to close the communication gap between BISP and its beneficiaries, she emphasized the importance of digital empowerment through smartphones. This will help beneficiaries understand their rights and lower their risk of fraud. The chairwoman emphasized BISP’s dedication to enhancing the quality of life for its clients by providing job-matching, market-driven skill training. The JazzCash team offered several joint venture ideas throughout the discussion. The team was encouraged by Senator Rubina Khalid to create a thorough implementation strategy for the digital empowerment of BISP beneficiaries.
