Islamabad, Aug 9: A high-level Chinese team met with Chief Commissioner of Islamabad and Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Muhammad Ali Randhawa, to talk about major investment prospects and impending projects in the capital city.
According to specifics, the Chinese delegates showed great interest in a number of CDA-led projects, most notably the conversion of CDA office buildings to solar power. Chairman Randhawa emphasized the close relations between China and Pakistan while welcoming the interest from international companies. He stated that the CDA is dedicated to promoting global collaborations in order to propel Islamabad’s modernization and growth. The group was given the assurance by Muhammad Ali Randhawa that the ideas for solarizing CDA office buildings would be carefully examined with the creation of a feasibility plan expected to start shortly.
The Chairman also praised China for its initiative in funding Pakistan’s infrastructure. Along with talking about solar energy, the group looked at other well-known CDA projects, such as designs for a cutting-edge Four Tier Data Center and a hub modeled after Silicon Valley. These projects highlighted the common goal of Islamabad to become a sustainable and technologically advanced metropolis in the future.
