Islamabad, Apr 9, 2025: Cement prices in Pakistan have seen notable fluctuations due to sluggish domestic sales. During March 2025, nearly 3 million tons of cement were dispatched locally, with prices ranging between Rs 1,300 to Rs 1,400 per 50 kg sack.
Despite the drop in sales, lower prices seem to have sparked demand, particularly in the southern region, where dispatches increased by 3.96% to 1.12 million tons.
However, northern mills experienced a 14.54% decrease in dispatches, resulting in a drop to 2.45 million tons.
The total dispatches in March 2025 stood at 3.569 million tons, reflecting a 9.48% decrease compared to the same period in 2024.
