Islamabad, Aug 17: Master Deepal L07 and S07 In Pakistan, Changan Motors Limited has formally unveiled its eagerly awaited Deepal electric car portfolio. The Deepal L07 sedan and Deepal S07 SUV are the company’s two new models, making this a momentous occasion. The electric vehicle (EV) revolution was introduced to Pakistani consumers with the unveiling of these vehicles at a lavish event held at Dolmen Mall Clifton in Karachi.
How Did Our Initial Predictions Turn Out?
We revealed the expected costs for the Deepal S07 SUV and the Deepal L07 sedan a few weeks ago. We estimated at the time that the S07 SUV would cost approximately Rs. 16,500,000 and the L07 would cost Rs. 15,500,000. It turns out that our forecasts were accurate. It is now verified that the official rates for the L07 and S07 are Rs. 15.5 million and Rs. 16.5 million, respectively.
Pre-Booking: With a booking fee of Rs. 3,000,000, reservations for these state-of-the-art EVs are currently being accepted. By October of this year, deliveries are anticipated to start, and Master Changan Motors Limited is preparing for a broad rollout.
The business has also declared a $50 million investment that will cover the whole EV value chain, including the construction of a thorough charging network across Pakistan.CKD Manufacturing: According to Master Changan Motors, these vehicles’ completely knocked down (CKD) manufacturing may start in the next eight to ten months.
Deepal S07 and L07
The Deepal L07 car and the S07 SUV have remarkable features that are commensurate with their high price points. These vehicles are a part of Changan’s joint venture with CATL and Huawei, the IT heavyweights, called EV-first.
With a powerful 68kWh battery from CATL and Huawei’s Harmony OS 4, the cars have an amazing range of more than 530 kilometers between charges. A 250 horsepower motor powers both models, enabling them to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds.
The L07 sedan is a mid-sized car with dimensions of 2900 mm for the wheelbase, 1890 mm for width, 1480 mm for height, and 4820 mm for length. It has 150 mm of ground clearance and R19 wheels. The S07 SUV, on the other hand, has dimensions of 4750 mm by 1930 mm by 1625 mm, a comparable wheelbase, 20-inch wheels, and 165 mm of ground clearance.
