Islamabad, Oct 14: Chinese Investment to Boost Sanitary Ware Manufacturing in Punjab. Modern Ceramics Sanitary Ware (Pvt) Limited, a prominent Chinese company, is planning to invest more than Rs8 billion in Punjab, which is a major step forward for Pakistan’s industrial sector. The revelation came to light during a high-level meeting held here on Monday between the leadership of the Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) and the company’s team.

Modern Ceramics representatives met with PBIT Chairman Muntaha Ashraf, CEO Suhail Saleem, and BoD Member Ahmad Ali Tariq to talk about the company’s ambitious ambition to build a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in the Allama Iqbal Industrial City (AIIC). In addition to satisfying the expanding domestic demand for sanitary products, this new plant would establish Pakistan as a major exporter of high-end sanitary products to important markets in the Middle East, Africa, and beyond.

Over 500 jobs are anticipated to be created by the Chinese Investment, which will also play a significant role in import substitution and local economic growth. Lowering reliance on sanitary products imported. Additionally, Pakistan will boost its trade balance by saving millions of dollars in foreign exchange.

Assuring the delegation of all-encompassing support, the PBIT Chairman emphasized PBIT’s dedication to enabling the production unit’s seamless formation through its specialized facilitation wing.
