The Met Department, monsoon rains are still occurring in Balochistan and are predicted to last till June 28.The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) reports that a number of places, including Dera Bugti, Naseerabad, Khuzdar, Lasbela, Hub, and their surrounding regions, have been impacted by the recent period of severe rainfall.

The PDMA has launched rescue and relief activities in Dera Bugti due to the substantial damage caused by the severe rains. To determine the complete amount of the damage caused by the continuous monsoon downpours, a thorough survey is presently being conducted.Aid supplies big enough to feed a thousand households have already been sent to Dera Bugti in response to the population’s urgent needs.In order to efficiently manage and lessen any potential effects of the monsoon rains, the PDMA maintains close communication with every district.

For the next 24 hours, further rain is expected in Lasbela, Hub, Khuzdar, Kohlu, and Dera Bugti, according to the PDMA. Furthermore, rain is possible in Naseerabad, Sohbatpur, Zhob, and the surrounding districts, which could make the existing situation worse.
