Islamabad, Sep 5:   Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz inaugurated the School Nutrition Program in Dera Ghazi Khan on Thursday. The initiative aims to provide free milk to students up to the fifth grade.

CM Maryam Nawaz underlined her commitment to the welfare of children throughout Punjab during the launch event.

“I am not far from you, Dera Ghazi Khan, no matter how far it is from Lahore. Her personal dedication to the kids of the region was highlighted when she said, “I think of all these children as a mother would; these children are VIPs to me.”

“I thought the children here wouldn’t know me, but they all do,” Nawaz said, expressing her surprise and joy at the kind response she received.

The youngsters showered me with unfathomable affection today. Her determination to provide the needs of children in even the most remote locations top priority is demonstrated by this link.

Nawaz’s emphasis on grassroots development is evident in the School Nutrition Program, which was introduced in Dera Ghazi Khan rather than more populous cities like Lahore or Rawalpindi.

Declaring, “I have thousands of schools under my administration in Punjab, with millions of children enrolled,” she acknowledged the difficulties the province was facing.

Although Pakistan lacks riches and has few resources, brighter times are on the horizon. I’ll exert every effort to ensure the kids’ nutritional needs are met.

“Maryam Nawaz emphasized the value of funding children’s education and nourishment, and she asked other chief ministers in the province to take similar actions.
