Islamabad, Oct 31: To assist worthy households across the province, Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz has announced the launch of minority welfare cards.
Speaking at a Diwali celebration event in Lahore, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz described the minority community as “a crown on her head” and emphasized her profound affection and dedication to their well-being.
Chief Minister declared that on December 20, The Punjab government would begin issuing minority welfare cards to qualified families throughout the state.
In addition to wishing the Hindu community a happy Diwali,
CM Maryam Nawaz promised to give Rs 150,000 to each of the 1,400 families.
CM Maryam Nawaz launched the “Kisan Card Programme”
in Hafizabad earlier this week with the goal of giving small farmers the crucial financial support they need.
Under this program, farmers can use their Kisan Cards to purchase seeds, fertilizer, and pesticides with loans of up to Rs 150,000 per crop season.
CM Maryam Nawaz declared during the Hafizabad event that the program’s funding would be increased to raise the number of Kisan Cards issued from 500,000 to 750,000.
She clarified that candidates might register by using their registered mobile number to email their ID card number to 8070.
She also stated that farmers growing 12.5 to 25 acres of wheat would receive free laser levelers, and farmers growing more than 25 acres would receive free tractors.
Maryam nawaz added that farmers would be able to rent out agricultural equipment for no profit.
