Islamabad, April 6, 2025: As PSL gears up for its 10th edition starting Friday, April 11, fans are once again turning their attention to the top performers.

With 34 matches scheduled across Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi, the competition will conclude with the grand final on May 18 at Gaddafi Stadium.

Although the PSL does not match the commercial scale of the Indian Premier League, it remains a highly respected tournament in international cricket.

Over the years, Pakistan Super League has served as a platform for local and international players to shine, often influencing national team selections.

In the run-up to upcoming much-awaited edition, attention has turned to the all-time top runs getter in the last nine edition of the league.

Only five players have crossed the 2,000-run mark in PSL history, and among them, South African batter Rilee Rossouw is the only non-Pakistani.

Leading the list is former Pakistani captain Babar Azam.

Having played for Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, and now Peshawar Zalmi, Babar has accumulated 3,504 runs in 90 matches.

The right-handed batter elegant technique and reliable form have earned him an average of 45.50 — the highest among the top scorers.

Close behind is Fakhar Zaman, who has made 2,525 runs for Lahore Qalandars in 84 games.

Known for his aggressive style at the top, left-handed batter has two centuries to his name, including a best of 115.

Mohammad Rizwan, who has represented Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, and Multan Sultans, also features prominently.

He has scored 2,403 runs in 83 matches, maintaining an average above 41, supported by 20 half-centuries and a highest score of 110 not out.

Shoaib Malik and Rilee Rossouw round out the top five, having maintained solid contributions over multiple seasons and franchises.
