Islamabad, Aug 14: 2024 is likely to be a historic year for vehicle introductions. The facelifted Yaris, Honri Ve, GUGO GIGI small, Corolla Cross CKD, and HS 2.0T were all delivered. Furthermore, on August 16 and 17, 2024, we will see the official debut of Deepal and BYD the next week. According to our sources, we might potentially see the release of other vehicles before the end of 2024. This is a list of upcoming car releases that are confirmed and those that are not (information sourced from reliable Pakwheels sources).
The confirmed launch date for BYD’s electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles is August 17, 2024.
On August 17, 2024, BYD, the largest electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer in the world and a Chinese business, will begin operations in Pakistan. As of right now, our sources have informed us that three models two of which are EVs and one of which is PHEV are on the way:

The confirmed launch date for Deepal’s electric vehicles is August 16, 2024.
China’s Changan is the father of Deepal. Deepal produces entirely electric vehicles, whereas Changan produces internal combustion engine vehicles. The same company that owns the Changan franchise in Pakistan, Master Motors, is now bringing this brand to Pakistan as well. They are currently scheduled to bring two models:

The brand will introduce its operations along with these two introductory launch models on August 16, 2024, just a day before the launch of BYD.
Hyundai Elantra Facelift Hybrid: Great Prospects for Release

Our sources claim that Nishat Motors has begun testing Hyundai’s redesigned Elantra on Pakistani roads. They want to launch a hybrid train together with the seventh generation Elantra in Pakistan. Pakistan is now limited to the 1,600cc and 2,000cc naturally aspirated sixth generation Elantra.
We are unsure of the engine configuration Hyundai would provide for the Pakistani 7th generation. Perhaps they will introduce the optional sports trim at the same time as the N model, a 1.4-liter turbocharged HEV with some aggressive exterior and interior styling upgrades.

Fifth Generation Kia Sportage Has a Good Chance of Launching

Similar to the 7th generation Elantra, we have learned from reliable sources that Kia is testing the 5th generation Sportage in Pakistan’s northern regions while it is carefully camouflaged. It appears that the company Lucky Motors, which controls Kia in Pakistan, is eager to introduce the fifth generation Sportage.

Suzuki’s Every Gentle Hybrid: Little Possibility of Pakistani Release

The locally produced Every in Pakistan may be released by Pak Suzuki with the same specifications as the JDM model. that is, a mild hybrid battery and a 660cc engine. Even though Suzuki’s team hasn’t given us any updates on the matter, the likelihood is quite slim, and the information comes from a reliable source.
