Islamabad, Apr 10, 2025: David Willey has expressed his admiration for the Pakistan Super League (PSL), calling it the best T20 league in the world.
As star pacer prepares to represent Multan Sultans, Willey shared his thoughts with reporters during a media session at National Stadium Karachi.
David Willey, who played a key role for England in 2022 T20 World Cup, praised the PSL for its competitive nature and the depth of talent on display.
The 35-year-old left-arm seamer emphasized the high intensity of the matches, which, in his view, make the PSL stand out among other global franchise leagues.

Despite the concurrent Indian Premier League (IPL), Willey expressed excitement about playing in the PSL, reflecting the growing prominence of league.
The fast bowler noted that while both leagues run simultaneously, his anticipation for the Pakistan-based competition is particularly high.
The enthusiasm of Willey is echoed by Sikandar Raza, who praised the continued appeal of PSL among top players despite the growth of other T20 tournaments.
Joining Multan Sultans as one of their key overseas players, Willey said he was eager to help the team in their bid for the PSL title.

Raza acknowledged the pressure of the competition but is confident in his ability to contribute both with the ball and as a lower-order batter.
Willey expressed his hope that PSL 10 would bring thrilling contests and that he could play a vital role in helping Multan claim their second PSL crown.
The eagerly awaited upcoming PSL 2025 season 10 will kick off on April 11, with Multan Sultans facing Karachi Kings on April 12 in Karachi.
The final is scheduled for May 18 at Gaddafi Stadium, where a new chapter in PSL history will unfold — with Willey determined to make his mark.
