Islamabad, Aug 22: Today marked the triumphant conclusion of the three-day 21st Pharma Asia Exhibition, which is the region’s leading pharmaceutical exhibition, held at the Expo Centre in Karachi. E-Commerce Gateway hosted the event, which marked an important milestone in the expansion of Pakistan’s pharmaceutical business. Salman Abdullah Murad, the Deputy Mayor of Karachi, was the chief guest.

Pharma Asia 2024 changed the pharmaceutical landscape of the nation by showcasing the newest breakthroughs and technologies from August 20 to 22. The occasion provided a forum for producers, suppliers, traders, distributors, legislators, and investors to get together and discuss prospects for cooperation and commercial growth. More than 200 firms and more than 750 booths were present at the event.

The expo was a hive of activity and networking, with participation from 15 countries, including a well-known pavilion from China. The occasion was a major feature on the global pharmaceutical calendar since it offered unmatched chances for cross-border collaboration.

Salman Abdullah Murad, the deputy mayor of Karachi, spoke about the event’s success and expressed gratitude for the passionate participation of both domestic and foreign stakeholders. The cooperation shown today is a testament to the pharmaceutical industry’s bright future in Pakistan, he said. “Pharma Asia 2024 has demonstrated the tremendous potential of our pharmaceutical sector.”

The president of E-Commerce Gateway, Dr. Khursheed Nizam, praised the tremendous response from attendees. We are overjoyed to see the enthusiastic engagement and participation from both domestic and foreign partners. According to him, Pakistan’s pharmaceutical industry is stimulated to innovate and work together by the 21st Pharma Asia Exhibition. Additionally, he expressed his gratitude to the Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers’ Association (PPMA) for their steadfast support and acknowledged their vital role in promoting innovations and industry standards.

The Special Investment Facilitation Council’s (SIFC) measures have further supported the growth of Pakistan’s pharmaceutical industry by fostering an environment that is favorable for investment and expansion. The industry’s increasing trajectory has been greatly aided by the SIFC’s initiatives, which have drawn both domestic and foreign investment.
