Islamabad, Sep 24: Dr. Musadik Malik, the federal minister for petroleum, met with representatives of the China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), a major participant in the exploration of oil and gas, on Monday.
Both parties reached a consensus on a plan for future investments, according to a news release. According to the Vice President of CNOOC, Pakistan continues to be a top focus for the company in its international collaboration initiatives.
In order to help Pakistan fulfill its growing energy demands, Dr. Musadik emphasized the country’s growing energy needs and expressed optimism that working with CNOOC would improve exploratory activities.
