Islamabad, 15 Apr, 2025: ECO Delegation members were warmly welcomed as they explored the majestic Lahore Fort, a symbol of Mughal grandeur and Pakistan’s rich cultural legacy.
The delegation, comprising distinguished representatives of the Economic Cooperation Organization, began their visit with a guided tour of the fort’s various sections, using specially arranged electric rickshaws for ease and accessibility.
Accompanying the group were Additional Chief Secretary Ahmed Raza Sarwar and Secretary Tourism Farid Ahmed Tarar, who ensured a smooth and insightful visit.

Later in the day, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif hosted a grand banquet in honor of the visiting dignitaries.
The event was held at a traditional Lahori venue, offering a feast of authentic local cuisine that truly captured the essence of the city.
Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb officially welcomed the guests, emphasizing Punjab’s commitment to regional collaboration and cultural diplomacy.
