Islamabad, Aug 23: An important step has been taken in the mission to improve digital literacy and education in Islamabad with the opening of a brand-new IT lab at the F-11 Government Girls College by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training. The Education Ministry reports that the lab was built up in an unprecedented three days.It further stated that 70 of these cutting-edge IT laboratories would be set up in government schools and colleges throughout Islamabad by mid-September.
In order to guarantee that students in these areas have access to the same caliber of instruction and resources as their urban counterparts, the ministry stated that about 50 of the 70 labs will be established in rural Islamabad. There are currently 33 IT laboratories that are set up and running, opening the door for a digital revolution in the field of education in Islamabad.
