Islamabad, Nov 29: Europe Lifts Restrictions on PIA Flight On Friday. Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif expressed gratitude to the Defense Ministry and the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) for removing the restriction on Pakistan International Airline (PIA) on European routes. In an interview with a private television channel, the prime minister stated that he had also taken particular steps to help PIA restore its European lines.
“The lifting of the PIA ban is a historic day for the nation,” he declared. When asked if eliminating the restriction on PIA will hasten the privatization process, the minister responded in the affirmative. In response to a query, he stated that in order to meet the demands of various routes, we will need to buy additional aircraft.
