Islamabad, Oct 3: Milestone ventures, including the Fairwinds Golf & Country Club, Innovista Indus, and Malir Industrial Park, were officially launched on September 26, 2024, at the Innovista Indus IT Hub in DHA Karachi.
The ceremony, graced by Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir and Chief Minister Sindh Mr. Murad Ali Shah, attracted a notable attendance from Karachi’s business community.
During the event, the COAS highlighted the critical role of Karachi’s business sector in the nation’s economic progress, encouraging hard work for a brighter future. A significant moment was the groundbreaking ceremony for the Fairwinds Golf & Country Club, designed by renowned architect Sir Nick Faldo.
The club aims to be a premier championship destination, boasting a world-class golf course that will challenge professional golfers and provide luxury living in DHA City.
Sir Nick Faldo praised the site, emphasizing the course’s unique features, including its location within a wind corridor, which will enhance the golfing experience.
He also announced that the first PGA Championship in Pakistan would take place at Fairwinds upon its completion in 2027.
Additionally, the event showcased DHA City’s commitment to developing a sustainable and smart metropolis, integrating modern architecture with environmental consciousness.
The project includes a range of amenities such as an ICON Mall, wellness resorts, and an auto cross race track, all contributing to a high-end living experience.
