Islamabad, Sep 30: Faysal Bank Joins Hands with Mastercard and 1LINK to Launch Shariah-Compliant Co-Badged Debit Card

In a landmark move poised to transform the digital payments landscape in Pakistan, Faysal Bank Limited (FBL) has announced a strategic partnership with Mastercard, a global leader in payment technology, and 1LINK, Pakistan’s foremost domestic payment switch.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed to promote digital transformation and deliver innovative payment solutions throughout the country.

The signing ceremony took place at Faysal Bank’s Head Office in Karachi, attended by key representatives, including Mr. Yousaf Hussain, President and CEO of FBL, Mr. Aneeq Malik, Group Head of Consumer Finance at FBL; Mr. J.K. Khalil, Executive Vice President and Divisional President at Mastercard; Mr. Arslan Khan, Country Manager for Pakistan at Mastercard; and Mr. Najeeb Agrawalla, CEO of 1LINK, among other senior executives.

This collaboration will introduce the innovative PayPak – Shariah-Compliant Co-Badged Debit Card which aims to provide unparalleled convenience, security, and flexibility for consumers, facilitating seamless transactions both within Pakistan and internationally.

Faysal Bank account holders will gain access to both domestic and international payment systems, ensuring smooth and secure transactions whether at home or abroad.

This initiative underscores Faysal Bank’s commitment to innovation and customer-centric solutions while advancing Pakistan’s digital financial ecosystem.

The partnership between Faysal Bank, Mastercard, and 1LINK reflects a shared vision to enhance the digital payment landscape in Pakistan through cutting-edge technology and strategic alliances.
