Islamabad, Sep 5: Up until September 2024, the Federal Board of Revenue has integrated 9,130 large merchants into the Point of Sales (POS) system to record transactions of Tier-I shops, including lodging and dining establishments.
9,130 Tier-I merchants were enrolled with the POS system, based on the list of retailers that the FBR produced up until September 2024.
506 leather and textile merchants were registered with the FBR until July 2024, while 660 restaurants were registered with the POS system out of 9,130 large retailers using the POS system up to that point.
